§ Mr. SNOWDENasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he has received any memorial from the assessors and collectors, of taxes asking that the present system of withholding payment for the collection of taxes should be changed, and that payment should be made by regular monthly or quarterly payments; and, if so, what reply has been made to the request?
