§ Mr. McKENNAI am advised that persons wholly or mainly employed as waiters in hotel restaurants are shop assistants within the meaning of the Act. As regards the second part of the question, I would refer the hon. and learned Member to the answer which I gave on Thursday last to a question by the hon. Member for Harwich.
