HC Deb 14 May 1912 vol 38 cc959-60
Mr. NEWMAN

asked the Prime Minister whether he has taken into consideration the number of questions that hon. Members have placed on the Paper addressed to him, and having reference to the Government of Ireland Bill, since the introduction of that measure; and whether, having regard to the fact that he himself is obliged, owing to absence from the House and other reasons, to delegate to other Members of the Cabinet answers to such questions, he will indicate what special subjects of the Bill have been or will be entrusted to certain Members of the Cabinet to deal with at Question Time, and the names of the right hon. Gentlemen to whom such replies are or will be entrusted?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think it might be found convenient if hon. Members would address questions on the finance of the Bill to the Postmaster-General, on matters of law to the Attorney-General, and on other points to the Chief Secretary or myself.
