HC Deb 13 May 1912 vol 38 c801
Mr. LANSBURY

I ask leave to move the Adjournment of the House "to call attention to a definite matter of urgent public importance—namely, the very serious aggravation of industrial unrest owing to the prosecution and imprisonment of Mr. Tom Mann and others for offences in connection with labour agitation."

The pleasure of the House not having been signified, Mr. SPEAKER called on those Members who supported the Motion to rise in their places, and, less than 40 Members having accordingly risen, the House proceeded to the Orders of the Day.
