HC Deb 09 May 1912 vol 38 cc575-6
Sir GEORGE YOUNGER

asked whether the President of the Board of Trade has had, or will initiate, negotiations with the Invergarry Company to dispose of their line with a view to its being re-opened; and whether, if he has had any such negotiations, he can state what has been the result?

Mr. BUXTON

Negotiations have been going on for some time past, and are still in progress with regard to the working of the Invergarry and Fort Augustus Railway. I understand that the matter will be further considered at a meeting of the directors of the Invergarry Company, which will probably be held shortly.
