§ The PRIME MINISTERThe evils of speculative operations are not, in my opinion, such as can be met by legislation. I am not aware that Canadian stocks offer 577 a specially favourable field for such operations, and I cannot adopt the hon. Member's suggestion that a Royal Commission should be appointed.
