The average declared value of the coal exported from English ports in 1911 was 10s. 3¾d., from Scottish ports 9s. 3¾d., and from Welsh ports 13s. 10¾d. The quantities and values on which these averages are based were given by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary in a reply to a question asked 19 by the hon. Member for the Chippenham Division of Wiltshire, which was circulated with the Votes and Proceedings of 18th March.
