HC Deb 21 March 1912 vol 35 cc2071-2
Mr. WARDLE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the London and South-Western Railway Company and other railway companies have reduced their passenger train services to a considerable extent, thereby causing inconvenience and expense to the general public, some of whom are season-ticket holders by payment in advance, and yet cannot be conveyed according to contract on account of the few trains running; and whether he can take any action in. the matter in the interests of the general public?

Mr. BUXTON

I can only refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave yesterday to a question on this subject asked by the hon. Member for Merthyr Tydvil.
