HC Deb 21 March 1912 vol 35 c2040
Mr. NOEL BUXTON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of Sir Gerard Lowther's success in raising money for the new buildings of the British school at Constantinople, he is now able to support the proposal for a grant from Government sources more nearly commensurate with those of other great Powers to their schools?

Sir E. GREY

A grant of £5,000 towards the cost of building new premises for the school has been made by His Majesty's Government. The present annual grant of £500 will be continued for another five years from 31st March next.
