§ Mr. PRETYMANasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state how many men on the staff of the Valuation Department have, within the last twelve months, been granted leave on a medical certificate showing them to be suffering from overwork; and how many cases there have been of nervous breakdown on the staff of the Valuation Department within the same period?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI am informed that there have been four cases of nervous breakdown, but in no case has the medical certificate stated that the officer's illness was due to overwork.
