§ Sir JOHN DEWARasked the Secretary for Scotland if he is able to state whether anything has yet been done to help to improve the mail and steamer service to the Islands of South Uist, Benbecula, and Barra, as requested by a Memorandum from the inhabitants of those islands presented to the late Secretary for Scotland on 5th December, 1911?
Mr. McKINNON WOODI am unable as yet to make any statement on the subject, but the Memorandum referred to has been under consideration, and I am in communication with the Postmaster-General.
