asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, at the present moment there is any deficiency of stokers in the Navy; and, if so, how many are needed to complete establishment?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The numbers are roughly 200 short of the proper proportion for this period of the year. It is expected that this shortage will be made good during the year.
