HC Deb 18 June 1912 vol 39 c1470
22. Mr. FELL

asked what is the effective strength of the British garrison in Egypt, the establishment of which appears in the Army Estimates to be 6,067 men?

Mr. TENNANT

It is not considered expedient to publish effective strengths of garrisons abroad.

23. Mr. FELL

asked the effective strength of the British garrison in South Africa, the establishment of which appears in the Army Estimates to be 11,485 men?

Mr. TENNANT

The answer is the same as that to the last question.
