HC Deb 13 June 1912 vol 39 c1045
45. Mr. COTTON

asked the Prime Minister if it is his intention to introduce a Bill for the purpose of the abolition of plural voting at elections this Session; and, if so, when the Bill is likely to be presented to the House?

48. Sir JOHN ROLLESTON

asked whether it is the intention of His Majesty's Government to adopt the Registration (Plural Qualification) Bill and carry it into law this Session; and whether, if this is to be the case, this Bill is to be regarded as in the place of the proposed Electoral Reform Bill, or whether it is intended to carry both Bills through all their stages this Session?

The PRIME MINISTER

The Government propose to introduce their Bill dealing with this matter next week, and it will be convenient to defer any statement on the subjects raised in these questions till then.
