HC Deb 12 June 1912 vol 39 c857
39. Mr. TOUCHE

asked if the right hon. Gentleman can say whether, on a motor ambulance employed solely by a board of guardians for the removal of chargeable persons, there can be allowed a remission of duty on the petrol used for the motor?

Mr. MASTERMAN

There is no provision for the remission of duty on petrol used in propelling motor ambulances, but the question of the amendment of the law upon this point is under consideration.
