HC Deb 11 June 1912 vol 39 c684
37. Mr. GINNELL

asked, in view of the condition of Crown property in Ireland, and the fact that no intelligent account of it is obtainable, whether the occasion offered by the international settlement under the Government of Ireland Bill will be availed of for the preparation and issue of a statement of the capital value and annual income in present British currency of Crown property in Ireland at the date of the Union and now, respectively; the consideration for which parts of that property have been disposed of in the interval, and the application of the proceeds; and whether a Schedule of the extant Crown property in Ireland will be attached to the Bill, showing what it is that Clause 39 transfers and retains, respectively?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The answer to both questions is in the negative. The preparation of the statement suggested would be very difficult, if not impossible, and I see no sufficient necessity for it.
