HC Deb 10 June 1912 vol 39 c512
18. Mr. BRADY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he is prepared to make any further statement regarding the stoppage of the work on the new Science and Art and other public buildings at Upper Merrion Street, Dublin; and whether His Majesty's Government is now prepared to carry this scheme to completion, a course which, apart from the necessity for office accommodation, will ensure an amount of employment in Dublin?

Mr. MASTERMAN

After very carefully considering this matter, I have decided to authorise the Board of Works to invite tenders as soon as possible for the erection of new Public Offices in Upper Merrion Street.
