asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the twenty destroyers of the present programme have all been ordered; if so, from whom; and what are their names and contract dates of delivery?

Mr. CHURCHILL

Orders have been placed provisionally for the twenty torpedo-boat destroyers of this year's programme with the Fairfield Shipbuilding Company, 4; Denny and Brothers, 2; Yarrow and Company, 4; Thornycroft and Company, 2; J. S. White and Company, 2; Swan Hunter, 2; Parsons, 2; Beardmore and Company, 2. The dates for delivery to be inserted in the contracts are under consideration. No names have yet been given to these vessels.
