HC Deb 10 June 1912 vol 39 c520
43. Mr. BURGOYNE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can make any statement regarding the decisions and conclusions so far arrived at by the Admiralty Committee appointed to consider questions affecting the personnel?

Mr. CHURCHILL

If, as I assume, the hon. Member refers to the Committee on Naval Discipline, that Committee has not yet reported.

Mr. BURGOYNE

Has the right hon. Gentleman's attention been called to a statement in the Press on the matter?

Mr. CHURCHILL

No decision had been taken, but I hope it will not be unduly delayed.

Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

Will the right hon. Gentleman tell the House when Admiral Brock's Discipline Committee will report?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I cannot tell: as I have said, I hope it will not be unduly delayed.
