Captain CRAIGhad the following question on the Order Paper: To ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in the case of national school teachers who have retired recently or are about to retire after long and efficient service, they will be entitled to the new scale of pensions which has been repeatedly foreshadowed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer; and whether he can state the date on which it is expected the new scale will be made public?
Captain CRAIGMay I ask why I cannot have an answer to my question. The right hon. Gentleman referred me to the Treasury. The question has been on the Paper for a month. I do not see why I should suffer owing to the bungling of the Government?
