HC Deb 25 July 1912 vol 41 c1359
78. Mr. JOWETT

asked whether, under the National Health Insurance Act, a two-loom weaver, whose earnings generally amount to over 12s. per week, when she is employed on one loom only on account of bad trade or other cause and her earnings fall temporarily to not more than 9s. per week, is entitled to draw the full amount she earns free from deductions for insurance, and without loss of insurance benefits; and if a weaver's earnings fall temporarily to a sum exceeding 9s. but not exceeding 12s. for each full week, if a penny a week only is the sum to be deducted from her wages for those weeks for which she earns over 9s. but not more than 12s.?

Mr. MASTERMAN

Assuming that the weaver is working full time in each case, the answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative.
