HC Deb 25 July 1912 vol 41 c1355
66. Mr. CHIOZZA MONEY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if his attention has been directed to the fact that the Kettering Iron Company, Kettering, have issued to their employés, in connection with the beginning of the National Insurance Act, a so-called census card which asks each employé to state, inter alia, his age and the name of the approved society which he has chosen; and if he will communicate with the firm in question, pointing out that the Act does not give them the right to inquire for such information, and that the issue of such a card is contrary to the intention of the Act?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I shall be glad if my hon. Friend will give me further particulars, when I will consider whether to communicate with the company.
