HC Deb 22 July 1912 vol 41 c799
37. Mr. MUNRO

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether any member of the Committee of Management of the Seamen's National Insurance Society is a Scotchman or has special knowledge of the Scottish fishing industry; and, if not, whether he will consider the propriety of adding a member who possesses these qualifications?

Mr. BUXTON

There is no direct representative of the Scottish fishing industry on the Committee of Management of the Seamen's National Insurance Society, but I understand that at least two members of the Committee are Scotchmen. The constitution of the Committee cannot now be varied.
