HC Deb 22 July 1912 vol 41 c798
27. Mr. KING

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether his attention has been called to certain cases of attempted arson which appear to have been simultaneously undertaken by women engaged in a certain political agitation; and what action he has taken or proposes to take in this matter?

Mr. McKENNA

I have heard of the cases referred to. No action on my part is called for. It is for the police to endeavour to find the offenders; and, if they are found and identified, the ordinary procedure of the Criminal Law is available.
