HC Deb 19 July 1912 vol 41 c667
45. Mr. FELL

asked the Prime Minister if the unofficial Committee on the Taxation of Land Values is to sit in any public office or building, and if any Government officials are to be compelled to give evidence before it; and, if so, will the Committee pay the adequate rent and payment for the time occupied by such officials?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd George)

The answers to the first and second part of the question are in the negative; the third part therefore does not arise.
