HC Deb 15 July 1912 vol 41 c6
3. Mr. CHARLES BATHURST

asked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he has yet appointed the chief entomological expert of the new Horticultural Department of the Board; if so, who is lie; at what salary has he accepted such office; and whether such salary is less than that of the post which he is vacating in order to accept it?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Runciman)

Negotiations are proceeding, but I regret that I am not yet in a position to answer this question. If the hon. Member will repeat it one day in the latter part of next week I hope then to be able to give him the information which he desires.
