Mr. PEASEThe only information in the possession of the Board bearing upon the tenure of public elementary schools is recorded in a Return, No. 178, to the Order of the House of Commons, dated 23rd February, 1906, which was subsequently reprinted and published by the Board in 1907 as List 32. The information contained therein does not enable me to give in a complete form the number and names of the schools asked for.

Mr. PEASEI have looked into the matter, and I am afraid that I can add nothing to that particular Return. That Return was issued by order of the House. Since then we have not been able to obtain any additional information.
