HC Deb 26 February 1912 vol 34 cc972-3
Mr. KELLAWAY

asked how many persons were killed or injured by motor omnibuses and by tramcars, respectively, in the metropolitan area during each of the past five years; and how many passengers were carried by motor omnibuses and by tram-cars, respectively, during the same period?

Mr. McKENNA

I shall be happy to furnish the information, so far as it is available, if my hon. Friend will put down an unstarred question. I have the figures for the first part of this question, but, so far as I am aware, there are no more definite records of the number of passengers than those contained in the last Report on London Traffic, which are largely based on estimate.
