HC Deb 22 February 1912 vol 34 c715
Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

asked the Secretary for Foreign Affairs whether he has any official information as to the condition of the Turkish and Arab prisoners who have been deported by the Italians to the islands of Tremiti and Ustica; and whether, in view of the fact that out of nearly 2,000 prisoners nearly 300 have already died of lung troubles due to the prevailing cold, he will make representations to the Italian Government with a view to improving their condition?

Sir E. GREY

I have no information on this subject.
