HC Deb 20 February 1912 vol 34 c457
Mr. BARNSTON

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state what steps he proposes to take to give effect to the suggestion made by the Departmental Committee on Railway Amalgamations, namely, that the whole question of the law and practice affecting the throughout charges made on traffic exported from or imported into the country is one that requires investigation?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. J. M. Robertson)

The matter is still under consideration.
