HC Deb 19 February 1912 vol 34 c276
Mr. BARNSTON

asked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he was now in a position to state the result of the inquiries which the Board have been making as to the manner in which the existing provisions of the law relating to the sale of milk are at present administered by local authoriteis?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

The inquiries are still proceeding. A considerable amount of information has been obtained, and I am in communication with the Local Government Board as to the steps to be taken to put matters on a better footing.
