Sir CLEMENT KINLOCH - COOKE

asked whether, in view of the institution of warrant rank of gunnery sergeant-major in the Royal Marines, as set out in circular letter No. 15, dated May, 1911, the Government is prepared to reconsider the position of existing warrant officers of Royal Marines, with a view to conceding to them similar privileges to those obtaining in the new rank of gunnery sergeant-major?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Macnamara)

The Admiralty are not of opinion that there is any necessity to take the course suggested by the hon. Gentleman.
