§ The SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Colonel Seely)Regular Infantry battalions have five mekometers or range-finders per battalion. The Territorial Force Infantry battalions will eventually have four mekometers per battalion. At present issues have been made on the scale of about two per battalion, pending the release of others from the Regular battalions as one-man range-finders are provided for the latter.
