Mr. GRETTONasked why the income from the charges levied by Imperial officers for lighthouse dues, estimated to amount in 1911–12 to £466,000, and the expenditure therefrom upon lighthouses, are omitted from the Estimates of national expenditure intended to show the aggregate estimated expenditure for the year; and will the Chancellor of the Exchequer give directions that in future the lighthouse dues and the lighthouse expenditure shall be inserted in the statement of estimated income and expenditure?
