§ 57. Mr. WEIGALLasked the Prime Minister whether the names and qualifications of the members of the Secret Land Committee will be published; and whether he was aware of their names and qualifications before he gave his sanction to the formation of the Committee.
§ The PRIME MINISTERWith regard to the first part of the question, I must refer the hon. Member to the replies which I gave on 10th July last, and with regard to the second part, to my answer of 11th December, in reply to a similar question.
§ Mr. WEIGALLIs the Prime Minister aware that he has refused on three occasions to answer the last part of the question, and can he now say whether he definitely declines to answer this question; and, if so, if he will, in his capacity as head of the Government, dissociate himself entirely from the Secret Land Committee?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have never declined to give information on the subject to the House, but I have nothing to add to the information I have already given.
Captain CRAIGCan the right hon. Gentleman tell us whether this sneaking Land Committee extends its operation to Ireland?
