Sir JOHN JARDINEasked whether, on applications made, the Inland Revenue has refused to repay the proportion of Mineral Rights Duty applicable under Section 11 of the Finance Act, 1912, to rates paid in 1909–10, 1910–11, and 1911–12 on coal lordships in Scotland; and whether he will state the reasons why the relief afforded by that Section should not be given on account of these three years?
