Mr. McKINNON WOODThe question of the wireless installation is one for the Postmaster - General, whose licence is required. I understand that the issue of a licence has been conditionally approved, but that the conditions have not yet been accepted. If no wireless installation is secured, I will consider whether any other arrangements for ensuring communications can be made, though in view of the general experience of the past I have some doubt whether it is necessary to share my hon. Friend's apprehensions regarding the future welfare of the islanders.
