§ 15. Mr. WRIGHTasked the President of the Board of Agriculture whether his attention has been called to the report of the diseases of animals committee of the Radnorshire County Council, presented to that council on Friday last; and whether, 3150 in view of that report, and the mortality amongst the flocks of Radnorshire and North Herefordshire last winter, and consequent heavy losses to farmers, he will undertake to carry out a thorough investigation into the causes of such mortality, with a view to the suggestion of better methods of prevention in the future?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANI have not yet received a copy of the report referred to in the first part of the question, but I am aware of the mortality which, unfortunately, prevailed amongst the flocks of Radnorshire and North Herefordshire last winter, and investigations with regard to it are now being made with a view, if possible, to the discovery of means by which it may be prevented.
