§ Resolved, That, in pursuance of any Act of the present Session to make further and better provision with respect to Feebleminded and other Mentally Defective Persons, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
- (a) contribution towards the Expenses of Persons detained in, or removed from certified institutions for Defectives, and towards the Expenses which may have been incurred by any society in assisting or supervising Defectives;
- (b) the salaries or remuneration of the Commissioners and their officers, and other Expenses incurred in the execution of such Act.
