§ Mr. MASTERMANThe National Standard Insurance Company, the Law and Integrity Insurance Company, and the City and County Assurance Company have not been approved by the Insurance Commissioners for England. A new society under the name of the National Standard Law Integrity City County and General Insurance Society has been approved by the Joint Committee. At the time of approval the Commissioners had no knowledge of any connection between this society and the Irish Provident Assurance, Limited, but inquiries on the subject have subsequently been instituted.
