§ 64. Sir J. D. REES
asked whether the Government accepts the fact that the medical profession, as represented by the British Medical Association, will not work the National Insurance Act on the terms 2257 offered; and, if the answer be in the affirmative, what steps they propose to take to provide those benefits for which compulsory contributions are levied?
§ Mr. MASTERMAN
The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; no terms have yet been offered by the insurance committees. The second part of the question does not therefore arise.
