Mr. CHARLES CRAIGasked the Chief Secretary whether the Lord Chancellor of Ireland has yet considered the Report of the County Court Judges on County Court Procedure; if so, when does he propose to take action on the Report; if the Lord Chancellor has not yet considered the Report, will he state what is the cause of the delay; and, in view of the importance and urgency of the question of County Court procedure to barristers, solicitors, and litigants, and of the delay which has already taken place, if he will take immediate steps to induce the Lord Chancellor to give the matter his attention?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Lord Chancellor has considered the Report of the County Court judges, and has sent a copy to the Incor- 2231 porated Law Society at their request. When the society furnish their observations on the Report the question of legislation will be considered.
