HC Deb 01 April 1912 vol 36 c858
Mr. RUPERT GWYNNE

asked how many Insurance Committees and District Committees would be appointed under Part I. of the National Insurance Act; and when steps would be taken to set up these committees?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The number of Insurance Committees for the four countries will be 234. Until these Committees have been constituted, and the schemes prepared by them have been approved by the Commissions it is impossible to say exactly how many District Committees will, in fact, be appointed. The steps to be taken to set up Insurance Committees are under the consideration of the Commissions.
