§ Mr. MEAGHERasked the Chief Secretary whether the Irish Government have a Bill on the question of Irish Poor Law reform prepared for introduction to Parliament; and whether, owing to the material difference in the conditions of Irish life since the operations of the Old Age Pension Act, he can see his way to have the Bill introduced and passed into an Act of Parliament for Ireland, having regard to the demands of all Irish public bodies to have the Poor Laws reformed?
