Mr. KINGasked (1) when the new postage stamps of a higher value than 1d. will be issued; and (2) whether the Postmaster-General is now satisfied that every possible improvement has been attained in the printing, adhesiveness, and other qualities of the new 1d. and ½d. stamps.
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELThe preparation and issue of stamps at present devolves, by Statute, upon the Commissioners of Inland Revenue, and perhaps the hon. Member will address his questions to the Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
