HC Deb 26 October 1911 vol 30 c280
Mr. BRADY

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been drawn to a resolution adopted by the council of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland as to the delay in registering titles in the Registration of Titles Office; and whether he is aware that at present the cases in arrear amount approximately to 18,500 first registrations untouched, and, in addition, 5,000 first registration of labourers' cottages untouched; and whether, in view of the fact that the arrears will rapidly accumulate, he will do anything to remove this congestion?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. McKinnon-Wood)

Steps have been taken to increase the staff of the Registration of Titles Office.
