HC Deb 26 October 1911 vol 30 cc294-5
Mr. KING

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can state the position in which the scheme for coast-watching now stands; and whether additional precautions are being taken against the danger to shipping of danger-signals being unobserved?

Mr. BUXTON

The proopsals of the Board of Trade are still under consideration by the Treasury, so that I regret that I am therefore unable to make any statement on the subject at present.
