HC Deb 27 November 1911 vol 32 c30
Mr. CHIOZZA MONEY

asked what was the estimated excess of births over deaths in the United Kingdom in the first ten months of this year, what the loss of population by emigration, and what the estimated net increase of population for the same period?

Mr. BURNS

Figures of excess of births over deaths are made up every three months. The excess for the first nine months of this year was 329,710. The Board of Trade Return of Passengers to and from places out of Europe for the same period shows a balance of outward movement of 237,067.
