HC Deb 16 November 1911 vol 31 c500
Captain CRAIG

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Commissioners of National Education in Ireland have yet framed the rules or issued instructions to managers in regard to the procedure necessary to obtain the grant of a moiety of the cost of heating and cleansing Irish national schools?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH (Lord of the Treasury)

The Commissioners of National Education inform me that the regulation, with explanatory memorandum, governing the payment of the new grant towards the cost of heating and cleansing national schools was issued to the managers of the schools on the 2nd instant. The regulation has also been published in the Press.
