HC Deb 16 November 1911 vol 31 cc504-5
Mr. DUFFY

asked if the right hon. Gentleman is aware of the number of evictions threatened in the town of Kinvarra, on the Sharpe estate; how long ago is it since the trustees of the estate offered the entire property for sale to the Congested Districts Board; has an inspection of the property taken place; and, if not, will he explain the cause of the delay?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH

My right hon. Friend has no information as regards the first paragraph of the question. The necessary maps and documents for a preliminary inspection of the estate were lodged with the Congested Districts Board in March last, but owing to pressure of work the board's staff have not yet been able to carry out the inspection.
